Optimizing Linux
I know, I know, this is a big and tricky topic. I am just trying to keep tracking what I ever did to optimize my Linux servers.
I have used the following tools:
- top, htop, iftop, sysstat to monitoring the performance
- nice, renice to tweak the process priorities
- taskset to play around with multiple CPUs
